Seeing colors meld together on canvas to the beat of music in the background is what keeps me creating art. From the time I was a little girl, I held dear my box of 64 Crayolas and art pad. I have always been fascinated by color and the art created from it. I attended a small liberal arts college in Incline Village, NV, where I received my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Painting. At that point, I began teaching art to children. Teaching art has always allowed me to re-teach myself and I truly enjoy when a student loves their creations.
I have recently moved to Arizona, being reborn into a world of continuous inspiration. My art consists of a variety of media, from acrylic to gouache, to mixed media. When looking upon a finished piece, I can still tell you the musical inspiration behind the work. Music plays a very important part in my creations and without it, my art would be lost.
